February is over and I feel liking shouting “Halleluiah!” February has seemed like the longest month ever to me, yet at the same time I am thinking, "Wow, it's March ALREADY!" I know my friends in the north have had it bad, with all the snow storms and very frigid temperatures, not even being able to leave the house much. Here in the south, we’ve had some cold weather and even some ice and just a tiny little bit of snow, so we haven’t had it too bad this year, but it feels like I’ve been sick and stuck in the house all winter long. It’s been harder to write, harder to think, and these days are just smooshing into one another. There have been good things – I’ve made more soups and stews and am becoming a pretty good soup maker. We’ve watched more movies and snuggled as a family. My sweats and sweaters are oh so comfortable!

But, I’m ready for warmer weather, for spring, for flip flops and finger nails and pretty pink toe nails! I’m ready for grilling out! I’m ready for baseball! I’m ready for warmer days and open windows. I’m ready for fresh ideas and innovation! We might take a mini vacation in April and in May I’ll be getting to see lots of my birthmom friends – some I have never even met in person yet!! I’m sure I will be writing more about that as May approaches though!

So, you are probably thinking, “What is in store for March, Coley?” Well I wish I had a good plan like I have other months, but I don’t! I have a few ideas working in my head, but we shall see how they play out.
