I have a crazy, busy week this week and just wanted to let all of my regular readers know what is up! We will be having guests in our home for a few days as well as going out of town at the end of the week. Yes, I’m crazy! Needless to say, I won’t have much time to be here on the blogs reading or commenting. However, I have been busily writing and trying to get things ready to post in here as well as in the crisis pregnancy blog so there will still be things posting that I have written so don’t stop checking just because I’m not around.

Usually a, lot of my time during the week is focused on adoption since I write about it daily, talk with many birthmothers on a daily basis, run BirthMom Buds, etc. This week my main focus will not be adoption! It’s nice to know that I have a break. As much as I enjoy writing about adoption and it is one of my passions, I need breaks too! They give me time to re-charge my batteries.

My guests this week will be my best friend, Lani, and her two sons, who are on fall break all week long. I am so excited to see her! We haven’t gotten to spend any quality time together since September of 2006! We will be staying up late gabbing and crafting, I’m sure as that is what we tend to do when we get together. But I know that at some point, the talk will turn to adoption since we are both birthmothers.

Then at the end of the week, on Thursday, we will be going out of town (Pigeon Forge, TN) for Noah’s birthday. I love throwing big birthday parties for him but they have just gotten too stressful for him and he really wanted to go ride a train, go stay in a hotel, etc. so we decided to do this for his birthday instead. But ya know, I’m sure adoption will smack me in the face at some point when I am in Pigeon Forge as it usually does.

But it will nice to have a mini break with adoption on the side instead of the focus!
