Laura Christianson, who used to write the Christian Adoption Blog here at AdoptionBlogs, has recently published a book called The Adoption Network and now she is giving away copies of that book! Isn’t that exciting!?! First, let me tell you about the book in case you haven’t heard about it and then I will get to the specifics of the give away.
The Adoption Network
You may be wondering what The Adoption Network is all about. Well, it is a step by step guide on how to create an adoption support network (such as support groups, one to one mentoring, social gatherings, etc.) or an adoption ministry through your church. In her book, Laura walks you through all the steps and the thought process of creating a support group or ministry and has even included various worksheets to make the whole process easier and more manageable. Laura uses Heartbeat Ministries, the ministry she created at her own church, as an example in the book and took everything that she learned while starting that ministry and poured it into her book. While her ministry is for adoptive parents and couples who are struggling with infertility, the information in the book can be adapted to be used by any triad members.

You, like I did initially, may be thinking, “What’s the catch?” But there is no catch! Laura has simply gone mad this March and is passionate about helping others start adoption support networks in their church or community.
