Finally meeting everyone was amazing....This idea of not having it the same weekend as Mother's Day - I love it! But of course, I have 3 children I parent so being away from them half the day on Sunday (to drive home) was a little tough for me. And in a sense, it's almost as if "birthmothers" are trying to take the fame from mothers...and it's not like that. The weekend before maybe? I am seriously considering not doing it on Mother's Day weekend next year if I can get others to agree.
