I love gifts that incorporate a child’s photo into the gift and nowadays there are so many different kinds of gifts that you can give that use a photo. These gifts are great for anyone in a child’s birth family such as their birthmom or birth grandparents and some are also appropriate for a birthmom to give her child. Below are some of my favorite photo gifts.

Calendar ~ You can have calendars made nowadays that feature a different chosen photo for each month. I don’t know any birthmother who wouldn’t love a calendar starring her child! I just made one of these easily through Shutterfly using pictures of Noah as a gift for my parents and it was a lot of fun to put together. You can choose Christmas photos for December, photos of your child on the beach for a summer month, and so on.

Photo Books ~ There are many different websites (My Publisher and Shutterfly to name two) where you upload your own photos to create a professional looking bound book. You can add text to the pages, choose from different styles, etc to custom make the photo book. A friend who is a birthmother made one of these for her child featuring photos of herself as a child to present day photos of her with her child.

Ornaments ~ There are so many ornaments out there that you can purchase that have a place to display a photo. One of my favorite ornaments featuring a photo are the recordable ornaments. Not only can you display a photo, but you can record a message on the ornament too!

You can also make things like mugs, mouse pads, keepsake boxes, coasters, and canvas tote bags all featuring your chosen photo. And if you need gifts for any guys, playing cards or baseballs featuring photos are great gifts.

Not only are these gifts fun to give but they are fun to make and design so have fun shopping!
