This picture was taken last summer. J (my hubby) got a grill for his birthday and loved to have people over and impress them with his cooking skills, so we had Charlie and his family over one evening for a cookout.
Pictured are both of my boys, Charlie and Noah. It is usually hard to get a really good picture of them both together as by the time one is looking at the camera and smiling the other is looking off to la la land or something like that. That night, they had been having a really good time playing with each other and were slowly beginning to wind down. They had decided to watch Good Boy, one of Noah’s favorite movies. They are sitting together in the chair, just like brothers, about to watch the movie.
I don’t know if you can see their shirts clearly in the picture but they are too cute! The designs were made on the computer (thanks for the help, Lani!), printed it on that new printable iron on t-shirt transfer paper, and then ironed it on white t-shirts for in the appropriate sizes for each of the boys. Noah’s shirt says, “My Mom Rocks!” and Charlie’s shirt says “My Birthmom Rocks!” There is a picture of Charlie by himself below so you can see his shirt better.
Pictures like this one are bittersweet to me. I love having a picture of my boys together, just like regular ole’ brothers but I feel bad for the times Noah may miss having a live in brother.
Anyways, brotherly love, that’s what this picture is all about!
