Look at that little guy (my little guy) making a crazy, funny face! Yes, he does it often. He is such a joker! His personality continues to develop and he grows into this independent little person. His mom tells me that he likes to tell jokes, be silly, cut up, and make you laugh.
Almost every time I talk to Charlie on the phone he has me rolling in laughter at his comedic antics. When I talked to him earlier in the week, he said, “I love you Coley but Zach and Cody comes on in five minutes, so you have five minutes.” Then there was a dramatic pause and he said, “Starting now!” Geesh, I see how important I am compared to Zach and Cody, which if you have never heard of (I hadn’t) is a television show on the Disney Channel. Then in the five minutes he allotted me before Zach and Cody came on, he went into a long, funny spill about a black bear that he saw in the mountains. (At a zoo type place, not a random wild bear!)
Is the need to create laughter and be a pint sized comedian a genetic trait? If it is, Charlie comes by it naturally via his biological family then! Charlie’s silly faces and need to make others laugh remind me of my little brother who was the ultimate jokester growing up. Every time someone was taking a picture when my brother was young, he’d make some kind of goofy, twerpy face in the picture. Not quite as crazy as the one Charlie is making in this picture though, but still a silly smirk!
Noah likes to make people laugh too. If I start laughing at something he does, then he will continually do it to keep me laughing all the while being very excited that he has me laughing.
Watching or listening to your son be funny – that’s love!

I love those faces he makes. I think he has a future as a comedian, if that is what he wants to do. Regarding Zach and Cody, Michaela loves them too and would rush off the phone to watch them also. I bet his jokes and tales are funny. I also love his pictures. He totally looks like you.
