For those who received the weekly adoption week e-magazine in your boxes, you will be reminded of a giveaway that Erin at the Transracial adoption blog is hosting for some really super Curly Q hair care products. Don’t forget to register and tell her about what adoption means to You, I know I did. While you are registering though, remember that I am still hosting a giveaway this month as well.
In addition to Erin’s giveaway, I am still hosting my own book giveaway. The books are courtesy of EMK press, and Sherrie Eldridge, author of ‘Forever Fingerprints.’ Please come and leave a comment on this entry blog anytime between now and November 30th, and you are automatically in the running for a gift of two adoption books, one being ‘Forever Fingerprints.”
My family really enjoyed the book by Ms. Eldridge, and we participated in their cross country book reading with hundreds of other on November 17th, National Adoption Day. I personally did a reading of the book at my local library, and EMK generously donated that copy to the library collection. While I wish the event had been better attended, those who were present enjoyed the book, the fingerprint activity, and just having the opportunity to connect to others in the local community with an interest in adoption.
From what I understand, the book is in high demand, and although readings are still taking place nationwide by those participating in the EMK Press program, there are no free books left for those who still wish to do a reading… that is unless you WIN one here. Out of everyone who replies to my entry post, one lucky winner will be drawn at random to win this great book, free, as well as another super adoption book from EMK.
So yes, I am still here, and still hosting s super giveaway. Please don’t foget to stop by and leave your comment to be in the running for 2 great books.
Good Luck!

EMK Press is such an awesome group. I really love “I Don’t Have Your Eyes” even if it’s meant for international adoption. It’s great for any child who doesn’t look like their adoptive parents.
I also happen to think that the Adoptive Parenting Toolbox book is wonderful. There are several fabulous authors in there. Not that I’m naming names……
