I do not get to send gifts. I am keeping a journal for her, a photo album for her, and I also get her a card for Christmas, Easter, and her birthday and fill them out and put the date on them.

i did the blanket idea even had her named embroydered on it and now my boy im going to raise has one too. that ways they have that “baby memory” is something they have in common.

I hate to give toys. Always have. I tend to get books for J and this year she is getting a blanket (thanks for the suggestion) and a kids digital camera since she is the camera ham. Now she can take her own.

I always give a book because that’s just who I am. A big book nerd. And then I figure out what size she’s wearing and what she currently likes toy wise. I’ll save the meaningful gifts for later when she fully “gets it.”
